Nancy Roberts, 73, of Port Orange, FL and formerly Wilkes-Barre passed away February 10, 2025, at her home. She was born in Wilkes-Barre the daughter of the late John and Betty Jane Roberts. Nancy graduated from GAR High School, class of 1969, Luzerne County Community College, Kings College, and Wilkes University. She worked as a social worker in the Port Orange, Florida area.

Nancy held a myriad of diverse employment positions throughout her life. Always searching for knowledge and the next challenge, she embarked on many outside activities, including precision sewing, picture framing, and even tap dancing, to name a few.

Preceded in death by her husband, Phillip B. Tucker, her parents, sister, Jean Roberts, and brother John Roberts.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Tara Jean Gale, granddaughter, Shana Sterling, 2 great grandchildren, brothers, Craig Roberts and his wife Florence Mazza, Louis Roberts and his wife Jean, David Roberts and his wife Ann Marie, sisters, Betty Sartini and her husband John, Leslie McElwee and her husband Bill, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 15, 2025, from the Meade Street Baptist Church, 50 S. Meade St. Wilkes-Barre with the Rev. Chester F. Dudick officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Meade Street Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre.
