Aaron Michael Moore, 32, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

He was born in Wilkes-Barre, a son of Shelly Ulitchney and Jeffrey J. Moore. Aaron was graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, class of 2011 and he was a 2015 graduate of Luzerne County Community College, where he received his associate’s degree in business marketing.

Aaron is leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Known for his caring heart and unwavering devotion to family. Aaron found joy in every moment spent with loved ones, even if it is just playing games and sharing laughter around the dinner table. His passion in life was gardening, exploring the great outdoors, taking in the beauty of nature, and taking health and fitness seriously. He was devoted to helping others and four legged friends, including his cats, Fletcher, Ziggy, Coal and Oliver and his rabbit, Clara.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Andrew Ulitchney and by his paternal grandparents, Mamie Lee Moore Austin and Norman Austin.

In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by his soul mate, Julianna Toole; his brothers, Drew, Jude and Jason; sister, Jordan and step siblings, Aubree, Tyler and Reeses by Aaron’s bonus mom, Nicole; grandmother, Mary Jane Ulitchney; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; his god parents, Kathy Roth and Troy Lewis; along with many dear friends.

A celebration of Aaron’s life will begin with a visitation for family and friends from 3-7 pm on Monday at the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, followed by a service at 7 pm. Rev. Joseph D. Verespy, Pastor of St. Nicholas-St. Mary’s Parish in Wilkes-Barre will officiate. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
