Katie M. Belles Obituary

Katie M. Belles-Stephano, 44, of Courtdale passed away Tuesday February 25, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was born in Kingston to the late Larry and Sandra Schweiss Belles. Katie graduated from Lake Lehman High School, class of 1999 and attended Luzerne County Community College.


She is survived by her husband, Matthew Stephano, daughters, Kaelah and Skylar Stephano, brother, William Belles, her faithful canine companion Nala. Nieces and nephew, Alyssa, Chloe, and Tyler, Mother-in-law Carol Stephano, Sister-in-law Kimberly Benn, and Father-in-law William Stephano. Along with numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.


A private service will be held at the convenience of the family


Interment will be in the Orcutt’s Grove Cemetery, Noxen.


Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home
