Joseph M Reh, 61, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Monday March 10, 2025, at The Embassy of East Mountain Nursing Home, Plains Twp. He was born in Wilkes-Barre the son of the late Joseph and Regina Corcoran Reh. Joe graduated from G.A.R. High School as part of the 1982 graduating class. Joe worked in local lumber businesses and at T.J. Maxx for 25 years until his health declined. He belonged to St. Nicholas - St. Mary Parish, Wilkes-Barre.
Joe was a proud GAR Grenadier and followed their sports teams regularly. Joe was also a constant avid Raiders fan from a very young age, regardless of their performance each season.
Joe is survived by his sisters, Debbie Sabestinas and her husband Dennis, Wilkes-Barre, Kathleen Owens, Wilkes-Barre, Nieces, Dana Kegerreis, White Haven, Danielle Petroski and her husband Anthony, Mountain Top, nephew, Brandon Owens and his wife Brittany, Hanover Twp., and 6 great nieces and nephews, and his aunts Maureen Dougher, Wilkes-Barre, Sylvia Corcoran, Easton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday March 18, 2025, at St. Nicholas - St. Mary Parish, 226 S. Washington St. Wilkes-Barre. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 am to 10 am at the church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe’s memory to T1D (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund) at www.t1dfund.org.
