Rosanne Hogan, 73, of Wilkes-Barre passed away peacefully Friday, March 28, 2025, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born on July 2, 1951, in Wilkes-Barre, Rosanne was the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy (Fetchen) Petrovich. She was a 1969 graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School. After high school she worked for the City of Wilkes-Barre as a Fire, E.M.S, and Public Works Dispatcher for over 30 years. After retiring from the city, she also worked part time for Vector Security.
Rosanne loved to do crafts but had a very special talent for sewing. She was the happiest when she was spending time with her beloved family and absolutely adored her two special girls.
Rosanne will be remembered for being a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was so proud of her family and loved them very much.
She is Preceded in death by THE love of her life, her husband, Michael Hogan. Whom she missed terribly.
She is survived by her daughter, Dara and her husband Timothy Smith, Wilkes-Barre, granddaughter, Haley and her husband Ryan O’Boyle, Wilkes-Barre, step-grandson, Shea Smith, Wilkes-Barre, sister, Debra and her husband Allen Coombs, Shickshinny, brothers, Louis Petrovich Jr. and his wife Elaine, Las Vegas, NV, Ronald Petrovich, Wilkes-Barre, Robert Petrovich and his wife Mary Jean, Wilkes-Barre, nephew Robbie Petrovich and his wife Erin, plus many more nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
