Obituary of Carol Margaret Flannery

Carol M. Flannery, 83, of Kingston formerly of Plains Twp. passed away Friday April 4, 2025, at Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter. She was born in Newark, NJ daughter of the late James Lawrence and Margaret McAllister Flannery. Carol graduated St. Mary’s High School, Wilkes-Barre class of 1959 and attended Luz. Co. Community College. She retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot in 1998 after over 20 years of service. Carol was active with NE Assoc. for the Blind. She was dearly loved by family and her humor and stubbornness will be missed. Preceded in death by daughter, Denise Cavanaugh, son, John Cavanaugh, son, Christopher Joseph Cavanaugh, son, Keith Cavanaugh, and granddaughter, Sacha Cavanaugh. Survived by daughter, Ellen Theresa Sellars, Montgomery Village, MD, daughter-in-law, Nichole Gordon, Kingston, grandsons, Matthew, Ryan, and Michael Sellars, granddaughters, Kathleen Cavanaugh, Alicia Kenney, and great granddaughter, Ember Bozek. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home.
