Michael T. Walter Sr., 54, of Nanticoke passed away Monday April 14, 2025, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp. from the injuries he received in a vehicle accident. He was born in Wilkes-Barre the son of the late Thomas and Maryann Henry Krebs. Michael attended Hanover High School. He attended services at Apostolic Lighthouse Church, Hanover Twp.

He is preceded in death by brothers, Fredrick and Thomas Walter.

Survived by his son, Michael Walter Jr. and his wife Elisa Paula, Wilkes-Barre, daughters, Stepanie Walter, Hanover Twp., Andrea McDonnell, Hanover Twp., 13 grandchildren, brother, Kenneth Walter, Florida, sisters, Dorene Metkoz, Delaware, Heidi Walter, Plains Twp., Wanda Yankovich and her husband Andrew, Nanticoke.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday April 24, 2025, in the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home 89 Park Ave. Wilkes-Barre. A visitation for relatives and friends will be Thursday April 24, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
