Diane Kozemko, 65, of Kingston, passed away unexpectantly on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at her home. She was born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late John and Blanche Yanulavage Grencavage. Diane was a graduate of Coughlin High School, Class of 1977. She had a great love for nurturing children. Diane aka “Miss Di” owned and operated a Nursery School in Kingston, caring for numerous children over the years. After her retirement, she joined the CJ’s Pizza and Subs of Wilkes-Barre family working part time as a cook/server. Her family meant everything to Diane. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the beach of Destin, Florida which her and her family vacationed every year. Her happy place was on the beach, toes in the sand and a Pina Colada in her hand. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brittney Kozemko in 2021. Diane is survived by her husband of 37 years, Joseph Kozemko; daughter, Adrian Kozemko, Kingston; grandchildren, Ellianna Lutinski, Vayda and Aria Gerardi; sister, Debra Grencavage; mother-in-law, Ursula Kozemko; beloved dog, Maggie; son in law, Michael Gerardi; best friend, Marlene Watson. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends A celebration of Diane’s life will begin with a visitation from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a Service to follow at 7 pm. Deacon William Behm will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Diane’s memory to the Blue Chip Farms Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, PA 18612.
