Megan Grigas, 49, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Center in Scranton.

She was born in Wilkes-Barre, the daughter of Joseph Grigas of Wilkes-Barre and the late Norma Jones Grigas. Megan was a resident of St. Joseph’s Center, where she enjoyed its day program and activities.

Megan was raised and nurtured in a loving home by her parents and her brothers and extended family. She was a sweet angel of God. Megan was a member of the Meade Street Baptist Church in Wilkes-Barre.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Jones and by her paternal grandparents, Francis and Florence Grigas.

Megan is survived by her father, Joseph Grigas of Wilkes-Barre; and by her brothers, Joseph Grigas and his wife, Diane, of Hughestown and Norman Grigas of Larksville. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Ariel Swartz, Dustin Eyerman, Jonathan Eyerman, Faith Eyerman and Gabriel Rowe.

A celebration of Megan’s life will begin with a visitation on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 10-11 am at the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, followed by a service at 11 am. Pastor Chester Dudick will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Megan’s memory to St. Joseph’s Center, 2010 Adams Avenue, Scranton, PA 18509.
