Barbara E. Davison Obituary

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Barbara Davison, who left this world peacefully at home, surrounded by her devoted family, on August 13, 2025, and entered into eternal rest.

Barbara leaves behind her beloved husband, Leo Davison, with whom she spent 57 years of loving marriage. Barbara and Leo built a beautiful life together sharing every day, every challenge, and every joy side by side. They traveled often, created treasured memories and spent several happy years in Boca Raton, FL then Punta Gorda, FL.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on April 21, 1946, to Harry and Agnes Smith. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Smith and his son/her nephew, John Smith. Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Coughlin High School. She was also a graduate of Empire Beauty School and went on to open her own salons.

Although she had an established beauty salon, she was inspirational in starting and working along side her husband in their commercial construction company, Twin City Builders, Inc.

Barbara was a proud and loving mother to her two daughters, Heather Baldauff and her husband, Jerry, of Covington Township, and Dawn Davison-Monk and her husband, Dennis, of Hanover Township. She was affectionately known as “Nana” to her five cherished grandchildren — Tyler Baldauff, Shelby Guska and her husband, Alex, Colin Baldauff, Nathan Baldauff, and Payton Monk — each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She also leaves behind the family’s beloved dog, Dolly, who rarely left her side and offered constant comfort and companionship.

Her family always came first, and she devoted her life to giving them unwavering love, thoughtful guidance, and treasured memories that will last for generations. Not only was Barbara an inspiration to her family, she had a gift for extending a hand to anyone in need. Her kindness knew no boundaries, and she touched the lives of friends, neighbors, and even strangers with her generosity of spirit.

The mark she left on our hearts is everlasting, living on in each of us through the love, lessons, and memories she gave so freely.

Barbara was a devoted and active member of Askam United Methodist Church, where the fellowship of her church family brought her great joy. Her compassion and leadership helped the church touch countless lives by giving to those in need, and her presence will be felt in its work for years to come. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Barbara’s name to the Askam United Methodist Church, 2811 South Main Street, Hanover Township, PA 18706.
