Charles Coleman, 74, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Wednesday August 27, 2025, at Allied Services Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. He was born in Wilkes-Barre the son of the late Charles B. and Mary T. Fitzpatrick Coleman. Charles graduated from Hanover High School, class of 1969 and after graduation he joined the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. Charles was a corrections officer at S.C.I. Dallas, attaining the rank of Captain before retiring. He founded the Pride Motorcycle club, Dallas, PA. and was a member of The Hudson Serviceman’s Club, Plains.
Preceded in death by his First wife Diane Dukas Coleman, second wife, Ann Marie Valkos Coleman, son, Brian Coleman, brother, Sean Coleman, and sister, Bridget Fidler.
He is survived by his son, Charles Coleman and his wife Danielle, Pittston, granddaughters Chelsea and Katelyn Coleman, sister, Kathy Jarski, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave. Wilkes-Barre.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
