John "Doc" Gardner Obituary
John Francis “Doc” Gardner, 71, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away at his home on Monday, October 20, 2025.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, the son of the late George and Marguerite Bonner Gardner. John attended G.A.R. Memorial High School. He was a member of North End Slovak Citizens Club, Wilkes-Barre for over 15 years.
John is survived by his children, Sean Gardner, Christopher Gardner, Erin Emmel (Michael) and Kaitlyn Gardner (Graham); 9 grandchildren and his sister, Marguerite Giuanta.
A celebration of John’s life will be held from 6-7 pm with words of remembrance at 7pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the North End Slovak Citizens Club 635 N. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705.
