Ashley Marino Davis, 39, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of Mark Marino and Dory Andes Marino. Ashley attended Crestwood High School and she received an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Luzerne County Community College. She was employed as a Personal Care Attendant and Medical Technician.
Ashley had a love for life and spent her days enriching the lives of others. Through her work as a Personal Care Attendant, she brought dignity and comfort through life's basic needs. Ashley also had a special place in her heart for animals. Working to build safe and warm spaces for them to get through the cold winter months and keep them fed. She had a full heart and cared for her own pets with an unmatched passion. Rescuing a kitten, Sassy, and nurturing her to be a healthy and playful kitty living up to her name. The strong connections with her beagles Sadie, memorialized through a tattoo, as well as Luna and Delilah, or Lylie as she called her, reflected her kindness and affection every day.
Ashley especially loved her family. Celebrating her one-year wedding anniversary with the love of her life, Paul, in November 2025. She was a proud and loving wife. Paul was her perfect puzzle piece, fitting together to make each other whole. This love gave her the opportunity to build an extra special bond with her step-sons. She and Dustin were best friends and spent many weekends at flea markets searching for the perfect treasures to bring home. Supporting PJ in his education at King's and making sure he had access to attend any extra-curricular activities.
Ashley was known well for her meticulously done nails, hair and makeup. As well as plentiful and thoughtfully curated purse collection. But she was not afraid to get her hands dirty. Educating herself to grow and maintain a garden and renovating their house to make it their perfect home. Spending nights around a backyard firepit built as a family and enjoying the best parts of life.
Ashley was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Virginia Marino and by her maternal grandfather, Joseph Andes, and step-grandfather, J. Donald Thomann.
In addition to her parents, Ashley is survived by her husband, Paul Davis; stepsons, Dustin Robert Davis and Paul Davis Jr. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Doris (Andes) Thomann, her brother, Daniel Marino and his wife, Jennifer, Mountain Top; sisters, Dana Middleton and her husband, Eric, Dallas, and Caitlan Jerrell and her husband, Steven, Olive Hill, KY; nieces and nephews, Dea, Keira, Dominik, Daniel Jr., Dylan, Josh and Jaycen; and by her aunts, uncles and cousins.
