Donald Norton Jr.

March 29, 1963 – March 18, 2026

Donald Norton, 63, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on March 18 at Riverstreet Manor in Wilkes-Barre after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Wilkes-Bare, Donald was the son of the late Donald and Sophia Williams Norton Sr. He graduated from E. L. Meyers High School in 1981. Donald also served in the US Army. He was married to the late Debbie Tippins Norton

He worked for many years in the food industry at Wilkes University. He loved football and was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers and Alabama Crimson Tide Fan.

Donald is survived by his six children, sons, Donald III (Forty Fort), Michael (Wilkes-Barre), Allen (Luzerne), and daughters, Suzie (Luzerne), Brittany (Florida), and Tiffany (Forty-Fort). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and his sisters, Sophia Vital (Florida) and Frances Norton (Wilkes-Barre).

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Debbie and his brother Herbert “Rick” Williams.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
