Regina Munley, 88, of Wyoming, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, surrounded by those she loved.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on June 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Margaret (Mulhern) O'Day. Regina attended G.A.R. Memorial High School, and was employed by several local factories, Wyoming Valley Hospital, King's College, and First Hospital Wyoming Valley. She was a member of St. Andrew's Parish, Wilkes-Barre.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Munley, sisters, Margaret Dimaggio, Theresa Stortz, Marie Niemiec, and Catherine Pachucki, brothers, James, Joseph, Vincent, and Daniel O'Day.

She is survived by her loving daughter Margaret (Peggy) Paoloni and husband Karl, Wyoming, with whom she resided. Granddaughter Gianna Paoloni and fiancé Justin Skutack, Wyoming. Daughter Kathleen Kelly and husband John, Pringle. Grandchildren, Christine Dzoch and husband Shawn, Shickshinny, and John Kelly, Plains. Five great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Sister-in-law, Kathleen Klinges, Florida. Extended family, Brenda, Peter, and Jack Duffy, Northern Ireland. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her deeply.

Special thanks to the nurses in the WBGH intensive care unit, WBGH outpatient infusion team, Dr. Stanley Lobitz and Carolyn, Dr. Jeffrey D'Andrea, Medical Oncology Associates, and Renal Consultants for their wonderful care for Regina.

Regina will be remembered for her kindness and the deep love she had for her family. She made everyone feel welcomed and cared for, loving others as her own. Her family was her world, and her love will live on in all who knew her. She had a pleasant smile for everyone, even on her toughest days.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 9:30 am from the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 am in St. Andrew Parish, 316 Parish Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
