Judy Newhart, 74, of Dallas and formerly of Edwardsville passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023, at home. She was born in Kingston to the late John and Alma Mae Heller Ostroski. Judy graduated from Kingston Area High School. She was employed by Gerrity’s for many years prior to retirement. Judy was a former member of the Bethesda Congregational Church, Edwardsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Newhart, brothers, John Ostroski Jr., George Ostroski, Billy Ostroski, Michael Ostroski, Thomas Ostroski, Steven Ostroski, and sister, Debbie Davis.

Survived by daughter, Carol Brown and her husband Bruce, Moosic, son, Joseph Newhart and his wife Jennifer, Nanticoke, grandchildren, Joseph, Nicolo, Isabella, Julian, brother, Joseph Ostroski, Shavertown, and sister, Carol Carroll, Dallas, and many nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from the Edwards & Russin Funeral and Cremation Services Inc. 717 Main St., Edwardsville.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Larksville.
