With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Maureen J. DeWeese, aged 48, of Exeter, on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Bethesda, Maryland, Maureen was the beloved daughter of the late William and Judy Serafin DeWeese. She attended Sacred Heart Slovak School of Wilkes-Barre and Hanover Area High School, leaving a legacy of joy and kindness characterized by her infectious laughter and generous spirit.

Maureen's resilience and strength were her hallmarks, bringing comfort and happiness to those around her. She is deeply missed by her devoted boyfriend, Dan Belpulsi of Exeter; her brother, William DeWeese of Florida; her son, Brian; and her cherished nephews, aunts, and uncles.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., December 2, 2023, at Edwards & Russin Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., 717 Main Street, Edwardsville, with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. Her interment will follow at Fern Knoll Cemetery, Dallas.
