Carol A. Long of Wilkes-Barre, went to her heavenly home to be with Jesus and her family on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Born January 25, 1945, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. Long Sr. and Mary N. Knoss Long. A naturally caring person, she worked most of her life in the field of healthcare. Her hobbies included painting ceramics and reading.
Deeply devoted to her faith, Carol was always positive and able to see the light through all her life’s struggles. She was an extremely proud person and an extraordinarily compassionate individual.
Many lives were touched by the life of Carol, all of whom will miss her, most especially her beloved brother, Arthur J. Long and his wife Mary Ann, Wilkes-Barre, nephews, Dave, Charles, and Arthur Long, and her close friend Phillip Petroski and many other friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday April 24, 2024, at The Chapel at Maple Hill Cemetery 68 E. St. Mary’s Road, Hanover Twp.
