Elizabeth Kasper Nardiello, of Mountaintop, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 20, 2024.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre, the daughter of David and Bertha Bronack Kasper. Elizabeth was a graduate of Meyers High School class of 1967 and Misericordia University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in education. She was a member of The Parish Community of St. Nicholas-St. Mary Church, Wilkes-Barre.
She taught at St. Leo’s in Ashley, St. Aloysius School in Wilkes-Barre where she taught most of her career, and St. Mary’s Assumption in Pittston. Elizabeth was an extremely dedicated, caring, and loving teacher touching all her students’ lives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip “Mousey” Nardiello and her sister, Linda Kozichek.
Elizabeth is survived by her son Philip, brother David Kasper and his wife Betty, sister Melanie Brennan and many wonderful family members and friends.
She loved cooking and collecting cookbooks, going to the casino with her sister Melanie, going for walks, and sharing her cooking and baked goods with everyone.
As per Elizabeth’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
