Sharon Balz Obituary
Sharon Kay Balz, 61, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of Joanna Washick Pickett of Wilkes-Barre and the late Edward Pickett. Sharon attended G.A.R. Memorial High School. She was employed as a certified nursing assistant in home health.
In addition to her father, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Edward ‘Bud’ Pickett and by her sister-in-law, Carol Pickett.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Michael; Bobby and Josh Balz; sister, Tina McKeown; brother, Kyle Pickett; 3 grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre.
