Obituary of Joanne Eve Walko

Joanne Eve Walko of Winter Haven Florida, passed away at the age of 74 on September 5th with her daughter, sister, and niece at her side. She was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania to the late Walter and Hazel Perhalla. Joanne moved to Florida a few years ago and loved the weather, spending time with her family, going to the beach, playing games, and taking boat rides and wearing fun shirts. She could typically be found with her friends playing bingo, doing crafts, or just sitting and talking. She was preceded in death by her “studmuffin” husband Art Walko, son David Rosencrans, nephew PJ Chromey sister Kat Perhalla, brother Walter Perhalla. Joanne is survived by her daughter Kellie and husband Rick Kizis, stepson, Bill (Brenda) Hughes, grandchildren RJ (Kara), Ryan (Brandi), Ty , and great grandchildren Jasmine, Mason, Jamie, and Koa. Her sister Judy Chromey, Nieces and nephews Janice, Ashley, Darren, Brendan, Jeff, Greg, Mason, Nicole, Chris (Jessica) Hailey, Riley, Hannah, and Jamie. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday September 28, 2024, at Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Ave. West Pittston. A visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 am until time of service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home.
