Obituary of Margaret Morgans

Margaret Morgans, 67, of Wilkes-Barre, entered eternal peace, on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, comforted and surrounded by family, at her daughter, Rosalie’s home. Margaret was born on July 19, 1957, in Wilkes-Barre. She was a 1975 graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre Vo-Tech, and LCCC. Margaret was the epitome of love, beauty, creativity, and laughter. Her unwavering love and devotion to her family went truly unmatched. She put her touch of creativity and imagination into everything she did – from playing with her grandchildren, to making the most immaculate birthday cakes – there was nothing that she didn’t put her heart and soul into. She had a passion for baking and cooking, and spent many years working as a private caterer, where she met many of her lifelong friends. She was the best Mammy, Mom, sister, and friend, to everyone, who had the honor of being part of her incredible life. She had a remarkable presence and the most beautiful way of bringing a smile out in everyone, even in the most difficult situations. Margaret is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Brostoski, and brother Michael Brostoski. She is survived by her ex-husband and best friend, Rand Morgans, daughters, Gemma Harris, Lorelei May, Rosalie Morgans (fiancé Harley), Samantha Kokinda (husband Albert), Hannah Morgans (partner Marie), 13 grandchildren, Dante, Dezmund, Yeseniah, CJ, Lykin, Wyatt, Junior, Dominick, Bash, Gracie, Sullivan, Lunabella, Oaklei, and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Mary Nestorick (husband Ray), Jackie Covert (husband Jerry), and Katherine Butruce (husband Dave), brother John Brostoski, her father, John Brost, along with many nieces and nephews, all whom she loved to the moon and back, and more. A private celebration of life will be held in her honor. Our family would like to extend the deepest gratitude to the nurses, aids, and social workers, from Allied Hospice, for the incredible care and comfort they provided, during this difficult journey. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre. Online condolences can be made by visiting Margaret’s obituary at www.ngjfuneral.com
