Patricia Pegg, 84, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at her home. She was born in Queens, New York, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Sadowski Byra. Pat was a graduate of St. Nicholas High School in Wilkes-Barre. She was employed at the Wyoming Seminary Lower School. Pat was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, John A. Pegg, in 2003. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Byra. Pat is survived by her sons, John Pegg and his wife, Donna, West Wyoming and by David Pegg and his wife, Dr. Joyce Roberts, Tampa, FL and by her grandchildren, Dylan Pegg and his wife, Courtney, Mackenzie Pegg, Nicole Pegg and Jessica Pegg. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Pat’s life will begin with a visitation for family and friends from 2:30 – 4 pm on Sunday, November 17th at the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. A funeral service will follow at 4 pm. Rev. Thomas Looney, President of King’s College will officiate. Condolences may by sent by visiting Pat’s obituary at www.ngjfuneral.com.
