Q: What will you never forget about Joseph?
A: One day, when I was 14 years old, Joe was walking past my house. Out of the blue, he asked me if I would like to play on his softball team. He needed a third baseman. I never played third base before but I said sure. Over the summer I got to know Joe and started hanging out at his house. Watching baseball, playing wiffle ball in the back yard, watching football. We even bowled together.
Joe also did something that changed my life in more ways than he ever knew. I didn’t know it at the time but Joe introduced me to my Wife. His wonderful twin sister Marilyn. He was responsible for me finding my lifelong partner. All because he needed someone at third base.
Over the years we may have drifted apart but Joe will always hold a special place in my heart. I will be forever grateful to Joe.
Thank you, brother! I love you!
