Janet Wenner, 83, of Mountaintop passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at River View Nursing and Rehab Center, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Wilkes-Barre to the late Stanley and Josephine Lawrence Zatzek. Janet graduated from Coughlin High School, class of 1956. She worked as a secretary at J. H. Williams & Co. prior to getting married and later for PPL. Janet was a lifelong member of the South Wyoming Valley Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She enjoyed traveling with friends, especially to the beach or on cruise ships, shopping, and crafting. Janet was preceded in death by her husband David, brothers Paul and Walter Zatzek, and sister Eleanor Hargraves. She is survived by her son, Daryl Wenner and his wife Krista, Bloomsburg, and granddaughter Emma Wenner. The family will have an online Zoom memorial service on Saturday December 11, 2021, at 1 P.M. given by congregation elder, Nathan Newton.
