It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Patrick John Smith ,32 ,of Kingston, PA. On February 11th, 2022 Patrick passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home. He was born in Kingston to the late Steven and Kassandra (Gacek) Smith. Patrick graduated from Pittston Area high school with the class of 2009. He had many passions but some of his all time favorite include Fishing, camping with his siblings and family at Ponderosa Pines Family Campground, gaming with life long friends, being a chef in the kitchen for those he loved. Patrick also had a deep love for music and would often host mini dance parties with his nieces, nephews,and his son no matter where the mood struck him.
Patrick is survived by his beloved son Steven Michael Wilbur Smith, who was the absolute light of his life, his brother's Robert Reilley Smith and his fiance Teresa Dehlman of Nicholson, PA, Kendell Eugene Smith, Cody Michael Smith, Michael Dean Whitt all of Duryea, PA and sister Megan Leigh Smith and her fiance Justin Hamlett of Kingston, PA. In addition are his eternally loved niece's and nephews Emily and Caleb, Alexandria and Kassandra, Lucas and Kyle ; his long standing foster parents Edward and Melissa Whitt, and his tribe of moms and dads whom all loved him so deeply. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Kassandra (Gacek) Smith and Steven Smith, his material grandfather Kenny Gacek, Paternal grandparents Wilbur (Pete) and Betty Smith and his younger cousin Brendon Gacek.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 pm Monday February 21, 2022, at Edwards & Russin Funeral and Cremation Services Inc. 717 Main Street Edwardsville, PA
